Pakistan Responds Firmly to India’s Refusal to Participate in Champions Trophy
In response to India’s refusal to come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, the Pakistani government has decided to take a firm stance. According to government sources, if the Indian team does not come, Pakistan will not play any matches against India, including in the T20 World Cup. Pakistan has completed all preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy, and it will be held in Pakistan. No hybrid model will be accepted. If all other teams are ready to come to Pakistan, why won’t India? All teams have come to Pakistan before.
Sources further state that the ICC has informed the PCB that India has refused to come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. Additionally, the Pakistani government is considering writing a letter against India’s bid for the 2036 Olympics. Government sources mentioned that cricket is to be included in the 2036 Olympics. If India is not coming to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, why should Pakistan go to India? India should not bring politics into sports.
